“Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores en Física Atómica y Molecular” (Young Researchers in Atomic and Molecular Physics Meeting) was born in 2008 to establish a meeting point where graduate students and recent postdocs working in Spain can share knowledge and discuss their research advancements.

The second edition of this meeting was held on January 21st – 22nd at Universitat de Barcelona. Following the structure of the I Jornada held in Madrid in 2008, the meeting consisted of short talks in which every participant briefly exposed his/her work.

There was no registration fee for this meeting. Coffee-breaks, lunches, the Conference Dinner and some material were provided.
