I will explain in very simple terms how to parallelize a fortran code
using MPI and fortran and how it can be run on a cluster, e.g. Mare Nostrum
(Barcelona SuperComputing Center). The idea is to change minimally an
existing serial code which is suitable for naive parallelization. An example
of results obtained studying pi N systems around 1 GeV will be given.
